Focus on Life Week 11

Our blog prompt from Sally this week is Endless Possibilities.  I found this moss while walking on the only warm day this week and was thrilled to see the moss coming to life and the endless shades of green all in one such small space.  And then upon closer look I saw endless shapes of the moss itself.  So I took a few pictures with my phone and thought they would fit this week's theme perfectly.  I like to look closely at small pieces of the natural world.  I find it endlessly inspiring.

Thanks to all who stopped by last week and left me such supportive and sweet comments about my free form peyote stitch  bracelet.  So encouraging and inspiring.
Please visit the other participants this week and see what they found with Endless Possibilities. HERE

  1. Nature truly provides the beautiful color palette in Spring! But what is inspiring is that artists - like you - actually SEE the palette. So many people take it for granted...Enjoy your weekend Mary!

  4. I love it!!! I had neighbors that had to get their three post fence replaced. They had such great lichen and moss growth on it, I asked if I could get one to put into my garden. It sits at the wood edge of the garden right now, waiting for it's more permanent placement. What a wonderful thing nature is :)

  13. I took a course in first year biology in university which was largely focused on lichen, mosses, and algae. Too many years ago for me to recall the names of these. They are definitely more interesting to look at, then to remember their botanical names, but I wish I could recall some of them. Another great picture, Mary. Andrea
