Beads-of-Clay Pendant Swap Necklace--Revised

Not too long ago I posted a few pictures of my necklace for the Beads-of-Clay pendant swap.  There is nothing like seeing a photo of one's jewelry on a computer screen.  The more I looked at it the more I felt that the orange beaded tube just looked out of place or not really a part of the necklace.  Today, I tried adding a Vintaj chain to the necklace and I think I like it much better this way.  I certainly think it sets of Lisa Boucher's pendant even better than before.  What do you think?

  1. Well, I thought it was gorgeous before! But the chain seems to be pulling the it together into one cohesive whole.

  2. Thank you LeAnn. That's kind of what I think too.

  3. I think it's the perfect combination of feminine meets a little bit of Industrial. Really beautiful.

  4. Thank you Sharon. I am glad you like the chain addition. I am pleased that I could make a necklace with Lisa's pendant that enhances her work and I would wear happily.

  5. Nice Mary! I agree, I like the necklace both ways. Without the chain is more feminine, but the chain goes well with the swirls in the pendant, and makes the piece more solid. I love it either way. :)

  6. Thanks Lisa for writing in. It has been important to me that you would like how I made a necklace with your pendant. I guess I am more in favor of the chain addition. Makes it more wearable for me.
